Platform Overview
Before jumping in, here is a quick map of how Torneos MVP is organized. Understanding this structure will make it much easier to navigate and configure the platform.
The main building blocks
Account
Your account is your personal identity on the platform. An account can belong to one person or represent an organization. A single account can manage multiple communities.
Community
A community is your organization's private and branded space on Torneos MVP. Every club, association, or federation that uses the platform has its own community. Inside a community you manage:
- Tournaments
- Rankings
- Players, coaches, and referees
- Clubs
- Members and roles
Communities can be linked hierarchically — for example, a federation can have associated club communities underneath it.
Tournament
A tournament lives inside a community. It has a name, a date range, and one or more categories (called Valids). Each category has its own registrations, bracket, and results.
Ranking
A ranking is a standing table for your community. Rankings update automatically as tournament results come in. A ranking can have multiple modalities (e.g., Singles U14, Doubles Open) that track different groups of players independently.
