Managing Match Queues
The match queue is the list of upcoming matches waiting to be assigned to a court. Managing the queue efficiently keeps the tournament flowing without unnecessary delays.
Understanding queue statuses
Each match in the queue has an operational status:
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Queued | Waiting to be assigned to a court |
| Called | Players have been notified to report to a court |
| In Progress | Match is currently being played |
| Completed | Match has finished |
| Skipped | Match was skipped in the queue order (e.g., players not ready) |
| Moved | Match was reassigned to a different court |
| Cancelled | Match was cancelled |
Adding a match to the queue
- Open the Live Control panel.
- Click Add to queue or the + in the queue area.
- Search for the match by player name, category, or round.
- Select it. The match enters the queue in the next available position.
Reordering the queue
You can reorder matches in the queue by dragging them up or down. This is useful when:
- A player is running late and you want to push their match back
- A court frees up unexpectedly and a specific match should go next
- You want to prioritize a final or semifinal over earlier rounds
Moving a match to a different court
- In the live panel, find the match on its current court or in the queue.
- Click Move match.
- Select the destination court.
- Confirm.
The scoreboard on the original court clears and the match is reassigned to the new court.
Removing a match from the queue
If a match needs to be delayed significantly or removed:
- Find the match in the queue.
- Click Remove from queue or the remove action.
The match will return to the unscheduled state and can be re-queued later.
Skipping a match
If players for an upcoming match are not present:
- Click Skip next to the match.
- The match moves to the back of the queue.
- The next match in line is called instead.
