Managing Multiple Communities

A single Torneos MVP account can manage multiple communities. This is useful for:

  • A federation administrator who manages both a national community and regional sub-communities
  • A tournament organizer who runs events for multiple clubs
  • A staff member who works across different organizations

Switching between communities

  1. Log in to Torneos MVP.
  2. Click the account switcher in the top navigation (usually shown as your current organization name or avatar).
  3. A dropdown lists all communities your account has access to.
  4. Click the community you want to work in.

The dashboard switches to that community's context — all tournaments, rankings, and settings shown will be from that community.

Switching accounts

If you are a member of multiple accounts (not just communities within one account), the switcher also lets you change accounts:

  1. Open the account switcher.
  2. Select Switch account or click a different account.
  3. You will be taken to the dashboard for that account.

Creating an additional community

If you want to add a new community to your current account:

  1. Click your avatar or name.
  2. Go to Profile → Create Community.
  3. Follow the Create Community steps.

Tips for multi-community management

  • Use clear, descriptive names for each community so you can quickly identify them in the switcher.
  • Assign a dedicated admin role in each community rather than relying on a single owner account for all operations.
  • Communities are completely isolated by default — players, tournaments, and rankings do not cross community boundaries unless explicitly configured with Partner Organizations.
