Partner Organizations
Partner organizations allow you to connect your community with other communities on Torneos MVP — for example, a federation linking its affiliated clubs, or an association connecting partner clubs.
What partner organizations are for
- Federations can link their member associations and clubs to create a hierarchical structure.
- Associations can connect affiliated clubs so that their tournaments and rankings can interact.
- Clubs can establish partnerships with other clubs for cross-community events.
When communities are linked as partners, they can share player data, ranking points, and affiliation rules across the hierarchy.
Adding a partner organization
- Go to your community Dashboard.
- In the side navigation, click Partner orgs. (Orgs. asociadas).
- Click Add partner organization.
- Search for the community by name.
- Select it and confirm.
Community access
In addition to partner organizations, you can also manage which external accounts have community access — a more direct form of cross-community permission. This is managed from Profile → Community Access.
Affiliation and ranking inheritance
When clubs are affiliated with an association or federation, you can configure inheritance rules that determine how ranking points flow between levels. For example, a player who competes in a club tournament can have those points count toward the federation's national ranking.
See Affiliations for more detail on inheritance rule configuration.
Note: The exact behavior of cross-community data sharing depends on how your administrator configures affiliation rules. Contact your federation or association admin for details specific to your organization.
